Wat Lahan Rai, Rayong

Wat Lahan Rai Temple was erected in honor of Luang Phor Tim, a widely regarded monk most famously known for his amulet collection. Ornate temple gates, gold statues of LP Tim, a Vihara building (monastery), stupa (dome-shaped shrine), sala (open meeting place), and ubosot (holiest prayer room) comprise the holy site.

 

Sunthorn Phu Memorial, Rayong

The memorial is on a hillside. Three sculptures surround the statue of Sunthorn Phu. The other sculptures represent the main characters in his literary works, including Prince Aphai Mani, the ocean butterfly, and the mermaid. Sukij Laidej created the Sunthorn Phu statue. Gaisorn Srisuwan sculpted Aphai Mani. Saroj Jaruc carved the mermaid, and Thana Laohathaikul executed the ocean butterfly

 

Prasae Sin Bridge, Rayong

Prasae estuary at Rayong Province is not only beautiful and peaceful, but also full of tourist attractions that blend in with the simple pleasures of nature. In the Ayutthaya period, the Prasae community is a waterfront community, with the main river being the lifeblood of life. Today, it has become a large fishing community together with a commercial seafood destination. This agricultural community is used to live from generation to generation.

 

Learning Center for Community based Eco-Tourism at Baan Sa Mae Poo and Tung Prong Thong, Rayong

Mangrove forest Pak Nam Pra Sae covers an area of over 6,000 rai, which is the largest in Rayong Province, is another Eco-Tourism with community participation by set up to be Learning Center for Community based Eco-Tourism at Moo 7, Pak Nam Pra Sae Subdistrict, Klaeng District, Rayong Province. The mangrove forest is linked to be one of interesting point on the process of the community tourism by boat cruise along Sa Mae Poo canal into the mangrove forest, estuary and walk to the Prong Thong area (Mangrove plant in genus Ceriops), which has a dense forest in an area of about 1,000 rai. The field is open and there is a resting point for taking beautiful pictures in the midst of nature.

 

Poo Yai Jeab Restaurant, Rayong

Local restaurant named "Poo Yai Jeab" which the owner of this restaurant who is the chief of the village is one of the participants developing Learning Center for Community based Eco-Tourism and Tung Prong Thong at Baan Sa Mae Poo, Pak Nam Pra Sae Subdistrict, Klaeng District, Rayong Province. There are a variety of cuisine and spicy taste quite suitable for those who like a local style food.

 

Learning Center of the Mangrove Ecosystem, Phra Chedi Klang Nam and Chalermprakiet Viewpoint Tower, Rayong

Chalermprakiet Viewpoint Tower is located on the island at center of the Rayong River, Baan Pak Nam Rayong which was built by the cooperation of Rayong Municipality, Rayong River and Mangrove Forest Conservation Group and IRPC Public Company Limited were created to commemorate His Majesty the King. The opening ceremony was held on November 28, 2555 B.E., aiming to be a learning center on mangrove ecosystems. To increase knowledge for students and the general public. Experience the nature of the mangrove forest. And see the way of life of the ecosystem of the mangrove forest. It is also a resting place and is a popular tourist destination for eco-tourism in Rayong Province. Later it was one of the forest projects in Rayong. "The mangrove forest, the pagoda in the mid of river, one gemstone in Rayong" on an area of 500 rai which covering Pak Nam Sub-district, Noen Phra Sub-district, Mueang District, Rayong Province, which was announced on October 17, 2560 B.E.
