Its name was originally “BhramaTemple” but it later called inaccurate to Phumin Temple. It is believed to be the first 4-portico vihara in Thailand.

 

Wat Phra That Chang Kam Voravihara, Nan

Inside the temple enshrined Chang Kam Pagoda which is Sukhothai art style at around the 20th Buddhist century. Around the pagoda are ornamental surrounding with elephant stucco statues in only half body.

From geological evidence, Sao Din Na Noi occurred from the movement of the earth’s crust during the late Tertiary Period and the natural erosion of water and wind. Geologists assume that it might be aged during 10,000 – 30,000 years and was once the bottom of the sea

 

Paknai's Fisherman Village, Nan

As locals of Pak Nai village are fishermen, there are plenty of fish product from the reservoir. Restaurants on rafts providing tasty fish such as Pla Kot - catfish, Pla Bu - gobies, Pla Khang – Giant Catfish, Pla Raet - giant gourami, Pla Thapthim - Thai Red Tilapia, etc. Some rafts also provide accommodations for tourists who want to stay over.

 

Wat Ming Muang and City Pillar, Nan

The city pillar’s base is wooden carved and decorated with gold leaves. The top of the pillar is carved in the image of 4-faced Brahma; each face is entitled Metta, Karuna, Mudita, and Upekkha respectively.

Another temple in Nan with beautiful stucco painting, especially the seven-headed nagas guarding the stairs in front of the temple which is very beautiful and looks gentle, lively molded by a Nan technician named Mr. Anurak Somsak or “Sara Rong”.

The ruler of Nan restoration of Wat Phaya Phu. Renovation of Wat Phaya Phu, such as the restoration of the pagoda, which brick masonry. The ancient pagoda is 14 meters wide and 25 meters high. It is the largest Buddha statue of Nan Province.
