Wat Ban Rai (Luang Pho Koon Temple), Nakhon Ratchasima

Wat Ban Rai (Luang Pho Koon Temple) is located in Tambon Kud Phiman, Amphoe Dan Khun Thot Nakhon Ratchasima and famous because Phra Thep Witthayakhom (Koon Parisutho), famous monk Respected the faith of the whole country. He used to be the abbot of Ban Rai Temple. Currently, Thep Witthayakhom Chalermprakiet 84th Anniversary (Prasutthapanya Building), which was just completed in 2011, has become a prominent feature of Wat Ban Rai. The feature is an elephant sculpture building. Located on a 30-acre swamp, it is a 4-story building, including 1 basement (ground floor). The roof of the building is a statue of Reverend Father Khun and Lord Buddha. With a total height of 42 meters, the building is located on a circular courtyard with a diameter of about 65 meters.  Became the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Thailand.
